ART at St. Joan of Arc School

The visual arts is taught to all K-8 students on a weekly basis.  Through the art education process, students develop and explore their creativity, a necessary skill for the 21st century.  At St. Joan of Arc, we believe that learning through art creates beneficial connections for brain-based whole child development.

In our God-centered environment, students will use their individual skills and imagination to complete a variety of projects.  The majority of art projects are kept in their art folders that stay in school.  During the year, the students and I will review their folders for selections in preparation for the annual art show.  The art show is held at the end of the school year and includes art work from all children grades K-8.  The art show is a wonderful display of our SJA talent!
